The history of the Resort Baure began in 2008, when two young people, Rasa and Rimantas, fulfilled their dream of creating a cozy, at that time unparalleled holiday resort on the outskirts of Palanga, in Kunigiškiai. Our goal is to create a place where people could escape the hustle and bustle of the city, relax in cozy wooden cottages, swim not only in the sea, but also in heated outdoor pools. It is not only about relaxation, it is also a continuation of the family history. The name “Baure” is a special tribute to the family history. This name belonged to the surname of the owner Rimantas’ great-grandmother. She once lived in this very place, in the large village of Paliepgiriai. For us, it symbolizes respect for roots, traditions and sincere hospitality. Every corner here creates a feeling of coziness, and the environment nurtured by the hands of the family invites you to return again and again. Over the years, the holiday resort has grown and improved, constantly updating its infrastructure, and children have also joined the business. The secret of our success is sincere care for each guest and attention to detail. We believe that every stay should be special and unforgettable.
Rasa – administers the resort, welcomes guests, answers questions and always makes sure that everything runs smoothly. However, Rasa’s work is much more than schedules and order management. She not only takes care of the cleanliness of the cottages, but also takes care of morning coffee and fresh croissants, and if necessary – she will always find time to talk, advise or just smile. Rasa performs many small but very important tasks that create coziness and warmth – that special atmosphere of “Baure” that guests remember for a long time.
Rimantas – the person from whom it all started. He is not only the creator of “Baure” – he is also its idea generator, a visionary who is constantly looking for ways to grow, improve and make the resort even more comfortable and cozy for each guest. Not only details are important to him, but also the atmosphere, relationships, and warmth that everyone who visits feels. Rimantas' energy, hard work, and sincere dedication are what make "Baure" not only a place to relax, but also a living story about family, a dream, and a place where it is good to return.
There are 12 wooden houses on the farmstead territory:
* 2 renovated one-room Houses_1 (2 adults + 2 children)
* 7 two-room Houses_2 (2 adults + 2 children)
* House for Two (2 adults)
* 2 unrenovated one-room Houses_No.5 (2 adults + 2 children)
* spacious villa with a fireplace (4 adults + 2 children)
* 2 two-story cottages (4 adults + 2 children), one of which has an outdoor Jacuzzi
* 2 heated swimming pools and a parking lot.
Lovers of a quiet vacation are welcome. The homestead is intended for a quiet family vacation, large companies, parties, noise, loud music, and consumption of alcoholic beverages in the homestead are undesirable. Outsiders are not allowed into the territory.
